Affiliate disclosure
RoomRacer is paid through affiliate links. Here is exactly how that works.
The short version
When you click a link from RoomRacer to a store and buy something, the store may pay us a commission. You pay the same price as you would going to the store directly. This is how the site pays for itself.
Amazon
RoomRacer is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Brands and other stores
Some links go to a brand's own store or to a sim racing retailer through their affiliate programs. Commission rates differ from store to store. When a part is sold in more than one place, we may list the store that pays us more first; the other stores are shown too.
Some brands don't run an affiliate program. We link to them anyway, and those links earn us nothing.
What commissions don't change
- Scores. They come from the same process for every part, whether or not it earns us anything.
- Compatibility. A part either works with the rest of a rig or it doesn't; no commission makes it fit.
- Which parts go in a rig. Rigs are designed around a theme, a budget and a platform.
We don't sell ratings, rankings or a place in a rig.
How you can tell
Buttons that send you to a store, such as “Check price at Amazon”, are affiliate links. There's a short disclosure next to them and in the footer of every page. For search engines, these links are marked rel="sponsored".
Prices
Prices on RoomRacer are our estimate of the typical US street price, with the month they were last updated. They aren't live and aren't taken from Amazon or any other store. The price you see at checkout is the one that counts.
Ratings
Ratings are AI analysis of public information, not hands-on reviews. Here's how we rate.
